Excerpt:

“Night’s growin’ cold, darlin’,” he murmured. “You’ll share a bedroll with me tonight.”

Her eyes widened, then narrowed in anger. “I wouldn’t share a bedroll with you if I were freezing to death!”

Leaning closer to her, he took her chin in his hand. “I didn’t ask you, sweetheart. Now you go right yourself for bed and strip to your chemise. I’ll prepare our bed, and you’ll join me.”

“I will not,” she hissed.

Cole was unmoved. Leaning in close, he whispered in her ear. “I don’t care who’s in our company or if it’s night or day. You defy me and I'll whip you. Is that what you want Daddy to do? Strip you and paddle your bare bottom? What will the others say?”

“They’ll say you’re a brute,” she whispered back.

His plan was not working. Though he was certainly prepared to whip her -- and suspected she’d land herself over his knee before the week was out -- this strategy wouldn’t be as effective given the next leg of their journey. He tried a different tactic.

Reaching a hand out, he gently encircled her neck and drew her close to him. He might've been rough with her, but women were not immune to his seduction. He flexed his fingers on the back of her neck, massaging, as he whispered in his deepest voice. “Aida, we got off on the wrong foot. I spanked you for defyin' me, and I’ll do it again if I have to. But I don’t want to punish you.” It was a lie. His cock twitched with the mere thought of taking his hand to her bare bottom. “But you must obey me for your own good.” His voice dropped lower. “You’ve had a long day, darlin’. You be a good girl now, and do as you’re told. You may even find if you obey me, I treat good girls very nicely.”

He could see her begin to soften when her breath became more shallow and her eyelids fluttered. Still, she pursed her lips as she glared at him. “Fine,” she hissed.

He tsk tsked. “Try again, darlin’.”

She closed her eyes, inhaled, then blurted out, “Yes, Daddy.”

“Good girl,” he crooned. “Now strip.”

His Babygirl (Boston Doms Book 4) Jane Henry & Maisie Archer

In case you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard, Jane Henry and Maisy Archer have a sizzling hot new book out and it's burning up the charts. His Babygirl is Boston Dom Book 4.

Blurb:

Alice Cavanaugh learned early that the only person she could count on was herself. As a single mom, she works hard to provide the best life possible for her son Charlie, and to earn the respect of those around her. She might take part in a scene at The Club, but she's way too busy to be anyone's full-time submissive. And that's fine with her, since the one dominant she's fantasized about submitting to has given her nothing but mixed-signals and heartache… until now.

Alexander "Slay" Slater, a former Marine and Dungeon Master at The Club, has been eyeing Alice for a while now… from a distance. But now that he's set his sights on her, he's all in. He will make her feel safe and cared for, and attend to her every need—including taking her over his knee for a sound spanking when she needs it.

But when Alice and Slay are roped into a dangerous entanglement with an insidious drug cartel, their relationship is put to the test. Can Alice trust Slay, even when it means ignoring her own fears and instincts? Can Slay keep Alice safe from the dangers that they face? Above all, can they overcome the obstacles that keep them apart—so that Slay can become Alice's Daddy, and Alice… his babygirl?

DISCLAIMER: His Babygirl contains the spanking of adult women, mild elements of age-play, and BDSM including power exchange. If any of these offend you, please do not purchase.

Excerpt:

Slay moved in behind her and the door shut behind him with a soft click. Without saying a word, he reached for the thermostat on the wall and bumped the temperature up several degrees.

He’d seen her shiver and he was keeping her safe and comfortable. But without touching her, naturally. Keeping his distance.

And that wasn’t what she wanted at all.

Alice sighed, tired and defeated. “Slay, I can’t do this.”

“Face the wall and spread your legs.”

Alice turned to find him leaning back against the door, his arms folded over his chest, his face impassive and his eyes… burning.

She shook her head quickly. “No. This isn’t what I want.”

Before she had time to think, he was behind her, turning her. One strong forearm wrapped around her stomach, holding her against him, while the other braced them against the wall. He tilted her head to the side with his chin and whispered in her ear.

“Bullshit. You wanted this. You wanted exactly this. That’s why you’ve defied me for the past few months, working the main bar, wearing this skimpy leather skirt. And that’s why you went outside tonight. You knew every inch of this building is covered by security cameras. You knew I’d see you, that I’d come for you. And I did.”

Oh. Oh, God. Where was the instant denial that should be coming to her lips? Where was the outrage?

She couldn’t summon any. Her heart raced as she recognized the truth… maybe he was right. Maybe she had known.

“Spread your legs for me, Alice,” he commanded softly. “Let me do this.” And as though her muscles obeyed his command without consulting her brain, her feet moved apart and she arched forward.

“Yes,” she breathed.

“That’s my girl,” he approved, and Alice felt a brief flare of pleasure at his words… and then her thoughts completely stuttered to a halt.

Oh my God. Pressed against her ass was a rock-hard erection that, like everything about Slay, was of mammoth proportion. And she knew in that instant that he wasn’t simply a little turned on by their positions, and he wasn’t just understandably excited by the impending spanking, like any dom might be. No, he was violently, rampantly aroused in a way that said he’d been suffering this way for more than a minute or two. He was hard as a fucking stone, for her. He was as invested in this as she was.

And that changed everything.

From one second to the next, she surrendered completely. And she knew he felt it when he stepped back, no longer fighting her or even commanding her, but arranging her pliant limbs into the proper position, bending her at just the right angle.

She closed her eyes and listened to his harsh breathing, concentrated on the tingles of sensation she felt when his fingers brushed against her skin. She was so turned on that her pussy throbbed with it. She needed his hands on her right that second.

He knelt behind her, his hands guiding her high-heeled feet just a few inches further apart, and then he stopped. His hands dragged up the insides of her bare legs, from her ankles up her smooth calves to her knees, and then further, along the backs of her thighs to the hem of her short black leather skirt, now pulled taut against her spread legs. He stood up, hooked his fingers under the hem and lifted it, centimeter by centimeter, exposing the swell of her ass, shielded only by the tiniest scrap of black lace, to his eyes.

It was exquisite torture waiting for that first slap to land, imagining his eyes on her flesh, wondering what he thought and whether he could possibly be as turned on as she was.

And then his broad, hot palm hit her cool flesh, and she could think of nothing but that.

Holy shit, but it hurt.

Maybe it was because her emotions were running high, or maybe because she hadn’t had a good session in weeks, but the pain was startling in its intensity. In the two years she’d been into the club scene, out of the dozen or more guys that had spanked her ass in that time, she’d never felt the pain come on so swiftly and powerfully.

“You messed up tonight, little girl,” he told her as she gritted her teeth through a half-dozen swats.

Alice frowned. What had he said? The pain made it hard to focus.

“Uh. Yes. Yes, sir. Sorry.” She recited her expected line dutifully.

But from behind her, she heard Slay mutter “Jesus,” clearly not appeased. He leaned over and whispered hotly into her ear, “When I'm punishing you, you call me Daddy.”

Surrendered on the Frontier by Jane Henry

Surrendered on the Frontier

Turn down the heat! Jane Henry is here today with her novel, Surrendered on the Frontier, from Stormy Night Publications.

Genre: western/romance/erotica/BDSM

Blurb:

After the untimely death of her harsh, overbearing husband left her a widow at the age of twenty-three, Ruth Watson vowed that she would never depend on a man again, let alone submit to one. The hard world of the frontier is no easy place for a woman to make her own way, however, and when the tough, handsome Samuel Stanley takes it upon himself to look out for her, Ruth is ashamed to find that a part of her longs to surrender to his firm but loving dominance.

Though Samuel itches to tame the headstrong Ruth, he is able to hold himself back until she loses her temper and hurts her best friend. Seeing her riddled with guilt, he at last puts the beautiful little spitfire over his knee and spanks her hard and thoroughly. The stern punishment leaves Ruth not only properly chastened, but burning with passion as well, and when Samuel takes her in his arms she yields completely to his mastery of her body.

Samuel makes it clear that from now on Ruth’s impetuous behavior will have consequences, but in her heart she wonders if he will grow tired of protecting her from both herself and the dangers of the frontier. Can she bring herself to trust him to be the man she has always needed, or will her fears bring an end to their blossoming romance?

Publisher’s Note: Surrendered on the Frontier is a stand-alone sequel to Claimed on the Frontier. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. Strong stuff but worth it! If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

EXCERPT:

“If you let me down, I will walk and not run,” I said. “I don’t want you to hurt yourself, Samuel.”

His only response was another sharp swat to my bottom. I fell silent.

We walked on, and I closed my eyes, realizing then that he was heading back to my home. I recognized the area around us now, and knew that soon we’d come to my cabin. I shivered now that my punishment was imminent.

He put me on my feet, then large fingers tightened around my upper arm, marching me forward toward my cabin. He opened the door and tugged me in, shutting the door behind him. With no further ado, he wrapped one large hand around the chair by my table, and dragged it to the center of the room, the scrape of the feet echoing in the silence of the cabin. Still holding me, he sat heavily, dragging me forward almost roughly so that I stood between his large knees. His blue eyes bored into mine, his jaw clenched, as he glared at me. I’d hoped the little walk in the woods had calmed his temper. It seemed instead he was angrier now than ever. Both of his hands grasped my waist, and he yanked me even closer to him so that I felt the warmth of his legs straight through my skirts.

“What do you have to say for yourself, young lady?” he asked. I squeezed my eyes shut. I wasn't prepared for the question.

I took a minute to compose myself, before deciding brutal honesty would be best. I opened my eyes. “I’ve hidden from you for days, yes, I will admit.”

Jaw still clenched, he deigned to give me one stout nod. “Go on.”

I swallowed, taking a shaky breath before I continued. “I just...was afraid. Not sure what happens next. But I wanted to speak to you, so I followed you. And I never heard you approach. You scared me when you grabbed me like that.”

He nodded again and his eyes were still hard. “Why do you think I don’t want you in the woods alone? If you don’t hear a big, lumbering man like me coming along, how would you hear something that would be a danger to you?”

I cast my eyes down. He had a point.

He jerked my head up to meet him again with his fingers under my chin. “Why did you run?”

Well, that was easy. “Because I knew you’d spank me, and I didn’t want a spanking.”

Amusement flitted across his features though he remained stern, the barest trace of amusement. “Honey, if I decide you’re getting a lickin’, you can run, and you can hide, but there’s one thing you can count on. I’ll lay you across my knee sooner or later, and you’ll not only get the lickin’ you deserve, you’ll answer for the chase. You mark me, woman. Don’t you ever run from me again.”

I cast my eyes down, suddenly repentant for acting like such a child all along.

“Yes, sir,” I mumbled. I needed him to fix this.

“Ruth.”

I looked back up at him and nodded.

He leaned in, his voice even lower, not much above a harsh whisper. “Remove your clothes.”

I gasped. “All of them, sir?” My heart galloped in my chest.

One hand reached out and threaded his fingers through the messy knot of hair before tugging.

All of them.”

Her Protector by Jane Henry and Maisy Archer

DISCLAIMER: This book contains explicit themes, including the spanking of adult women and other BDSM scenarios. Her Protector also includes a self-harm scene involving “cutting” – tough stuff but worth it. If such material is likely to offend or trigger you in some way, please do not read.

Excerpt:

“Tell me what you need,” he said, his voice so gentle, it seemed almost ironic he was talking about spanking her. His gentleness made the tears threaten to fall again, her throat clogged with them. She’d been bossed around and tied up, ordered into submission and whipped, but never had any of the men she was with asked her not only what she wanted, but what she needed.

“A real spanking,” she whispered. “One that hurts. I want to feel your strength.”

One of his hands wrapped around her waist, and her hand instinctively flew back. He grasped it, holding her hand, a gesture that was at once intimate and assuring, pressing her hand, engulfed in his large one, into the small of her back as the first smack of his hand fell. Her panties were thin and his hand large; the sting from the single swat hurt more than she’d expected.

“Ow,” she said in a little voice.

“Too hard?” he asked, squeezing her hand in the small of her back.

“Noooo, no no no, please, Tony,” she said. “Not too hard. That’s perfect.”

Another sound smack jolted her, and now he was spanking her in earnest, his palm rising and descending, and the heat of each spank warmed her skin, beginning with a jolt of pain that quickly spread to warmth, and her clit zinged with each stroke…

Begin Again by Jane Henry

Today I welcome the wonderful Jane Henry to my blog. Jane has been writing since her early teens, dabbling in short stories and poetry.

When she married and began having children, her pen was laid to rest for several years, until the National Novel Writing Challenge (NaNoWriMo) in 2010 awakened in her the desire to write again. That year, she wrote her first novel, and has been writing ever since.

In 2012, she became interested in the d/s lifestyle, and has discovered her love for writing romance with a d/s twist. With a houseful of children, she finds time to write in the early hours of the morning, squirreled away with a laptop, blanket, and cup of hot coffee. Years ago, she heard the wise advice, “Write the book you want to read,” and has taken it to heart. She sincerely hopes you also enjoy the books she likes to read.

Jane’s book, Begin Again, was released by Blushing Books on February 16, 2016.

Blurb:

Life is good for Meredith and her husband Paolo, when a terrible car accident leaves Paolo disabled. As he distances himself emotionally, Meredith seeks consolation in her fantasy world. Escaping into her erotic romance books not only helps keep the loneliness at bay, but also awakens in her a curiosity about the Dominant/submissive lifestyle.

The day she stumbles upon a website forum of actual submissives and dominants, her life is forever changed. These are not characters created by authors. They are real people who engage in real life dominance and submission. As her knowledge grows, she learns there is one question only she can answer—is she truly submissive, or is the fantasy better left on the pages of a book?

In a last ditch effort to discover who she really is, Meredith agrees to pledge her obedience to an anonymous on-line Dom. She convinces herself it can't be considered cheating if her Dom is just a faceless entity in cyberspace. But the first time she's given an order, it all becomes too real. Will her devotion to please her on-line Dom take precedence over her flesh and blood husband? Will Meredith's journey of self-discovery destroy their marriage or will they somehow find a way to begin again?

EXCERPT from Begin Again: Book one in the Bound to You series:

“Oh, now you'll pay for that, little girl,” he said, as he held her in the air, kicking and screaming. She was laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes.

He sat down heavily on the bed, easily turning her over his knee, her upper body laying on the bed and her feet dangling helplessly. He took both her arms gently but firmly and pinned them behind her, on her lower back.

“Let's see how full of sass you are now,” he continued, as she felt his hands on the back of her skirt, pulling it off and baring her to him. She felt the fabric dangle around her ankles, and heat moving through her. She squirmed with her pulsating arousal as he restrained her. It was always like this, when he overpowered her, pinned her arms down in bed, or pushed her up against the wall, his strength sending red-hot signals to her lower regions.

“What were you saying just a moment ago, young lady?” he said, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine. “Think you can get away?”

“No sir,” she said, and just for the hell of it, she tried to squirm a little. His large palm slapped down on her naked ass, and she squealed from the sting of it. Her arousal intensified, as she felt his warm, coarse hand caressing the spot he'd just spanked.

“Ah, but you've really been a good little girl, haven't you?” he murmured, his voice softening now, and she melted.

“Yes, sir,” she whispered. She felt his hand lift up and come down again, but it wasn't like being punished. No, nothing like that at all. It was nothing like the pain – both emotional and physical – of a hard disciplinary spanking. This was for her pleasure. He'd take her just below her tolerance, with firm but deliberate strokes.

“Good girls deserve good girl spankings,” he crooned, his voice sending shudders through her.

Getting to know Jane Henry

What are you working on at the moment?

I'm currently working on three novels. I don't know if I've ever been working on three at the same time, but one is a co-written book, another so intense I can only write in fits and starts, and another historical romance that is my first historical, and a completely different tact for me because it's the first time I've written both first person and historical.

Give us an insight into your main character in Begin Again.

In this novel, Meredith is someone that I think is a very relatable character. She craves deeper intimacy with her husband, but doesn't really know how to get that, and she's also erotically and emotionally drawn to being taken in hand.

How much research do you do?

It all depends. My current WIP, the historical, is requiring more research than I've ever had to do. I finally checked a bunch of books out of the library and have been gleaning everything I can about pioneers, wagon travel, and the like.

Have you written any other novels in collaboration with other writers?

Yes! Maisy Archer is a very dear friend of mine, and we're finishing up our third co-written novel together. It's SO fun and I highly recommend this approach. We have our first co-written novel coming out with Blushing Books later this year, and a second in the series we're finishing now.
